What You Require to Open this Account
- A completed copy of the relevant Key Facts Document (USD, GBP, EUR, UGX)
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Memorandum of Understanding
- Articles of Association
- Resolution signed by the directors, on the business letter head and sealed
- Copies of valid ID’s / Passports of the directors and colored passport photos
- Notarized email indemnity copy
If the business is registered as a partnership or sole proprietorship, below are the requirements;
- Copies of valid ID’s / Passports of the director(s) and coloured photo(s)
- Business Registration Certificate
- Resolution to open an account
- Notarized email indemnity copy
All account opening documents must be certified true copies of the original

2. Collect all the documents listed in requirements above
3. Zip all attachments in (1and 2 above) together into a single zip file.
4. Go to “Apply for an Account” Section on the site
5. Fill it out and attach the single zip file
6. Click the Submit button to send your online account application to Ugandans.Abroad@equitybank.co.ug
