You can open a personal or business PayPal account for free by clicking on the Sign-Up button at https://www.paypal.com/ke. An email link for confirmation will be sent to the email address provided.

To verify your account, link your Equity Bank issued debit, prepaid or credit card to your PayPal account.

You can link your card to your PayPal account through Equity Mobile or Online Banking. To begin, first link your PayPal account to Equity Mobile. Once the linked PayPal account is visible, tap the three dots next to it and select the "Link Card" option. Then, choose the card you wish to link and proceed.

You can also link your card directly from your PayPal account in the PayPal "Wallet" section. PayPal will charge $1.95, which is later refunded upon successful verification. A four-digit code will appear in your transaction details. You can easily access this code via SMS notification from Equity Bank, your statement, or by contacting customer support via +254763000000 or info@equitybank.co.ke to get the code. Enter the code in PayPal to complete verification.

You can withdraw funds directly through the Equity Mobile App or Equity Online:

• Log in and select the PayPal option
• Link your PayPal account
• Withdraw funds instantly to your linked KES or USD Equity Bank account

Your PayPal balance will appear on your Equity Mobile/Online dashboard, allowing you to track and transfer funds in real time.

Withdrawals are instant. Once funds are available in your PayPal account, you can transfer them immediately to your Equity Bank account without waiting periods. This allows you to access and use your money when you need it.

To receive money, you can share your registered PayPal email, send invoices, or accept payments through your website.

To pay, simply link your Equity Bank card and select PayPal at checkout when shopping with merchants that accept it.
