Equity establishes a Commercial Representative Office in Ethiopia, marking its entry into one of Africa’s largest and most promising markets. The Group also launches EazzyFX in Uganda.
The same year, Equity launches the USD 6 billion Africa Recovery and Resilience Plan (ARRP), a private-sector-led initiative to accelerate economic recovery, resilience and socio-economic transformation across Eastern and Central Africa.
