Kinshasa, February 22 - EquityBCDC is pleased to announce its continued growth and expansion while
detailing its objectives for the year 2024.
Despite the challenges posed by the global landscape, EquityBCDC remains firmly committed to its vision
of being the champion of socio-economic prosperity for Africans and Congolese in particular. EquityBCDC
is proud of its significant progress in 2023 and has even more ambitious goals for the year 2024 in its
mission to transform lives, provide dignity, and expand opportunities for wealth creation.
EquityBCDC is on track to achieve its goal of serving 5 million customers by the end of 2025. This
milestone reflects the bank's commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the Congolese people and
providing them with innovative financial solutions. In line with its commitment to improving accessibility,
EquityBCDC has begun deploying 300 new ATMs throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo. These
ATMs provide customers with convenient access to banking services, allowing them to manage their
finances easily.
EquityBCDC will also expand its branch network with 10 new branches for a total of 102 branches across
the DRC and an additional 5,000 EquityBCDC Express banking agents out of the existing 20,000 to
enhance the customer experience.
Furthermore, EquityBCDC is delighted to announce the launch of MoneyGram services in its branches
nationwide. This partnership allows customers to access international money transfer services directly
from EquityBCDC branches, thereby expanding the bank's range of offerings.
From a social point of view, EquityBCDC will launch its Equity Afya project, a chain of standard clinics
to democratize and make health care affordable to the entire Congolese population.
The project begins with the implementation of 30 clinics across the DRC.
EquityBCDC expresses its sincere gratitude to all staff members who have played a significant role in the
bank's journey so far. Their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence have played
a significant role in EquityBCDC's success.
Looking ahead to the rest of 2024, EquityBCDC is committed to deepening its impact and achieving new
milestones. In addition to the achievements mentioned above, the bank is focusing on launching
